The article is a piece of shit, the author is an Agent...

...He gives no examples, just lets the reader insert their own prejudice. It has nothing to do with "a nation", it's a persons right, individually, has nothing to do with anyone else.

Here he talks about legalization...

Lots of other activities are legal in Amsterdam, not just Marijuanas use, you cannot blame Marijuana, let alone this guy is trying to implicate that Marijuana is contributing to murder, His comment is bullshit. I bet if I look at the actual stats he is lying too...

Trying to justify taking something from me because some else is an idiot is impossible. And he makes out like drug abuse is a bad thing, if you agree with that you are brainwashed. Whatever makes you happy is what you should do, don't live your life trying to impress others, for one thing it's egotistical and another it makes you a slave, this is your life, people judge success differently, ones success is anothers failure.

Why bring it up... Amsterdam is a bad example, as there is many other drugs and activities (prostitution) that are legal there, not just MJ, yet he subtley uses the example to make it seem like legalising Marijuana would turn a city into a Hell Hole.

The government ships in the harder drugs and tells people MJ is a gateway drug, promoting their variety.

I think the writer was expressing thier opinion in a blog that they would choose decriminalization over legalization, then they stated thier points(factual or not..what they felt was true)..(true for them anyways).

now..if weed was legal, the government would have control over thc content etc, cost..and eventually it would go underground again, because you can be sure that growing and selling would still be illegal..no?..

I really don't know what your point is moon.
As I have just said to someone else, your thoughts are one thing and opinion another. An opinion can propergate a belief in another, a thought cannot. What I 'm saying is, that someone less educated on the matter than the Author is controlled by the version of events, as they do not have there own understanding, this is why I get annoyed even if it is just what they 'THINK', once they start to broadcast their thoughts they start effecting peoples opinions.

That last bit makes me sick,

moon, re-read the first paragraph assuming that this guy doesn't really Smoke, that he tried it once, then see how it comes across...
As derogateory, he makes us laugh at ourselves, it does nothing for improving the reputation of Stoners, it goes the opposite why and demeans Us.

That is not the only advantages to complete legalisation... But that is what this character just stated.

eg.
All the people that will go to prison, get fined, have their lives disrupted, wouldn't.

How about all the people that drink instead of using Marijuana... I guess it's a negative that they survive, with over population and all..... If a normal person could go to a Cafe and Smoke MJ instead of drinking poison that would be an advantage.

We would be able to smoke in more places than tobacco, as that is not socially acceptable indoors, Marijuana is, because it's not deadly like "cigarettes".

Marijuana quality control, less contamination for the average user, advantage.

Not having to associate with people from the wrong side of the tracks, people have been robbed and even killed going to "buy a sack". It can be dangerous to deal with dealers. Having a safe place to purchase the goods is an advantage.

People that otherwise would not have access to Marijuana would have, advantage.
