I will smoke in the car only if I am with my wife. I would be too afraid to smoke alone, paranoid that I would be pulled over. At least if the wife is with me she has hawk eyes so I do not worry too much. Do you smoke and drive?

I smoke on the freeway and stuff. but rarely on city streets. too risky just do it before you leave.
What about if you have to go on a road trip? 14 hours driving and no smoking will make me go crazy. I smoke and drive and I am extremely careful about it.

I dont smoke and drive, usually if I am going somewhere I have my kids with me and I feel better driving with a clear head with my kids as passengers, I also don't smoke in front of my kids so smokiing in the car doesn't work well.

Smoking while driving is even more dangerous than drinking then driving. It's plain crazy. It would be advisable to get another trip. Otherwise, you might hurt yourself and your wife or, worse, innocent people.

As much as I'd love to say otherwise, I have to agree with 10cents. I think sometimes you just might not know what you're actually getting, and you could react in a different way than you usually do when you smoke, which could cause an accident. The only reason I'm against it is because I had a friend who was in a car accident and the other driver had been smoking.
I'm not trying to argue with anyone on the board but if you are a smoker that has been doing it for years it's not going to effect your judgment, the worst thing that might happen is you miss an exit.

I know many people that have smoked for years, and it does effect their driving, in fact one guy was in an accident because of his lack of judgement. Pot still impairs your judgement no matter how long you have been smoking.

The very nature of the active ingredient in cannabis, THC, can impair anybody's perception of things since it is a psychoactive drug. Do we need an accident to drive this home? We can get high on pot as much as we like but hurting other people is another thing... :(

HAHA IM WITH YOU ON THAT :)
I've driven a lot of times high. I'm fine with it.
Then again, Ive gotten to the point where I do everything high so driving is no exception, I do work high, go to school high.
Its all good...but i think im a bit tolerant now. I think if i had tried driving my first like 100 times of smoking I wouldnt have been so good though. I wish I could get as high as I used to!

smoking and driving is one of my passions in life...no joke! I love cars and i love driving, getting high while driving enchances my joy for driving! But yes i am more carefull on crowded city streets because some judgement is definitely lost.

Smoking and driving is excelent. I know that i drive better and safer when stoned. I wouldn't if i was like racing someone or something. My reflexes are way better. Weed is never the fault of an accident. Some people are just bad drivers and if they get stoned it's their fault for driving bad. And anyone who knows they drive worse while high should know it's risky. If something happens they can't blame the ganj.

Years ago, a friend of mine decided to head to a local Italian restaurant for a bottle of wine and one of their famous pizzas. We had a quick toke on the way to the restaurant, had a slightly elevated meal - then got back in my truck, and smoked two or three bowls.
I decided to take her for a drive around our city's older parts - filled with both decrepit/ruined homes and pristine classics. The duality of the neighbourhood is viewed with such romanced eyes when high... she was blown away with the beauty she had never noticed - we shared a great moment.

Worse than drink driving? I've done both and i must say, I'll only never do one of them again. I had no trouble but i ran over a round about at like 70ks without even seeing it coz i was half asleep and sped the whole way.... over confidence.
On the flip... Smoking and driving is one of my all time favourite things to do with good music or just personal thinking time. Iv been pulled over baked as beans... its incredibly easy to get away with everything here. I got done for possesion of an oz.... US$100 fine and no record (saw RATM like 3 hours later :D). Everone reacts differentley though. If it doesnt work for you... don't do it.

I was gonna come in here and say the same thing but then I saw tons of posts saying it's dangerous. I enjoy getting high and driving. I don't smoke much but usually it's one of my things to do while high. The other is video games.

ANyone who gets in these accidents wasnt concentrating on driving, and thats the main point if youre sober or not. I drove 3000 miles straight across the country high the whole way with no inceent, but I take driving very seriously when im behind the wheel because it means my life. The only reason i smoke and drive is so i dont get so frustrated with traffic etc. Watch the road and what yorue doing and youll be fine, dont be a space case behind the wheel.
i smoke and drive all the time. the paranoia factor makes me a better driver to be honest. i prefer to smoke on the freeway tho.
u just gotta know how weed affects you...if you cant handle it then be safe and dont smoke n drive.

I'm high everyday, in every sort of scenario, and performing almost every sort of action. In fact, I'm one to say that toking up enhances not only the act of everyday activities, but also the quality at which I perform them. Driving is no different; I rarely drive without burning one. I am always twice as cautious, aware, and observant. Of course, getting lost when you're stoned is no fun -then you start to panic. The worst thing I've ever done while driving is kind of funny. I pulled a K-turn (actually more like a five-point) in a narrow street. I didn't hit a curb, a dog, a kid, a sign, a fire hydrant -nothing like that. Nope. There was just some angry, impatient old man sitting in his car behind me waiting for me to pull away. :D

We don't smoke and drive. Way too dangerous.
Now, hold on, I don't think being high while driving is dangerous (for a habituated user).
I think the exposure smoke gives you is dangerous to your freedom. Cops...
We got pulled over this week and had just been vaping in our closed up truck.
Not 2 minutes before being pulled over. Oh hell !
And this was a State Trooper, no local yokel.
I was the passenger and riding without a belt (post surgery) and he saw the opening to pull us over.
If we had just burned one we would have been busted. No doubt, we would have reaked.
I tossed my rosewood unit (http://purple-days.com/Rosewood.html)
to the floor where it blended in nicely, and rolled down the window. He came up on my side...
After threatening us with $550 in tickets (he saw the scars and bruising and didn't care, unless I was carrying written exemption) he finally let us go with a warning.
I sincerely thanked him and offered my hand, but he was an ass and refused to take it.
If this little trooper only knew, LOL,
Anyway, I have always wondered what vapor odor would be like to a non-weed user. The uninformed (and uniformed). But you just can't ask a nazi in jack boots...
So is vapor stealthy? You draw your own conclusions.
Do we smoke and drive? NEVER.
Keep your eyes on the road, your hands upon the wheel. (And your vape between your legs.)

Driving baked cannot be compared to driving while drunk, period.. Driving drunk usually causes someone to swerve, roll through stop signs, be less able to brake when suppose to and feeling invincible, ect, ect.. Usually when I'm high and driving I pay a lot more attention to signs and traffic and such, I also usually do the speed limit and my turns are real smooth. I love driving, even if it's to the store, and to be honest I love driving high, never drunk though. If you're high and driving just make sure you are awake, nothing looks worse than your totaled car in a tree because you feel asleep at the wheel, if you can avoid that there really isn't much to worry about, just don't forget where you're at and think with common sense, if you can't drive high then don't, but if you can who the fuck cares?
Another thing is if you have some good tunes to chill to with a pretty decent stereo system in the whip it makes driving high very enjoyable, especially on the way to a party or some kind of get together with friends.
