Hi,
Has anyone tried / grown Kali MistÂ® from Serious Seeds?
Sounds Brilliant from what I read in a High Times magazine
a few years ago, and the strain has Bigger Buds as of 2000.
I tried something 5 years ago that was similar but not as potent.
It became my NÂº1. Favorite after the very first time :-)

Kali (the black one) is the Hindu mother goddess, symbol of dissolution and
destruction. She destroys ignorance, maintains the world order, and blesses
and frees those who strive for the knowledge of God.

The Hindu fire god, Agni was said to have seven tongues. Kali was the
seventh, the black and horrible tongue. She was the wife of Shiva. Well, not
wife, but Kali and Shiva had sex a lot.

She was meant to have large eyes and a very visible tongue (well she was
represented by a black one!) and like Shiva, had several arms (4). She was
noramly seen holding a sword covered in blood, and in the other hand, the
decapitated head of some sort of demon. Her clothes were in the form of
chainmail, made up of human heads and she wore a belt made of dismembered
arms.

She is also known as Kalikamata ("black earth-mother") and Kalaratri ("black
night").

She was said to have a cheery and sunny disposition. <ok that bit I made up>

And before you ask, I did that from memory :))

I bet you wouldn't want to see HER when you're stoned <BEG>

Luckily I have *almost* no fear, and don't get paranoid either.

Oh, in weed?

Erm, well I don't normally know what I'm smoking, tho when I';ve been to
amsterdam I've tried just about everything. I tried Northern Lights because
everyone was raving about it but it just seemed normal to me. I had some
AK47 once and that was mind-blowing - I had a full on hallucination with
that!

*Must* visit amsterdam *SOON*, maybe 4 Cannabis Cup 2003.
Heard Rotterdam & some other cities are much better (pot) &
cheaper too (less tourists)

If you prefer Sativa you'll love Kali Mist. I go to the DAM 5-6 times
a year and my first stop is always the Dampkring to get some Kali Mist
and Bubble. Take the 1, 2 or 5 train from Centraal Station to the
intersection of Spui and Spuistraat. The DK is at Handboogstraat 29
just off Spui about 200 yards from where you get off the train.
Rotterdam is cool. It's a lot more laid back but not as tourist
friendly as you would like. You can get some good weed in Rotterdam
but it's also available in the Centrum if you know where to look.

you should come to Utrecht than :)
not as many tourists and GOOD weed.
it is allso a verry friendly place.
better than amsterdam.
we don't have a lot of those iritating guys who try to rip off any tourist!

If all goes to plan I'll be in Holland for 2 or 3
weeks so I'll have the time to explore a bit.

Working now on a 'shopping list' of seeds
to send back over while I'm there.
I take a lot of notice of the smell, flavour,
mind & body effects plus duration of the
effects. I hope to do some breeding with
some of the best strains that I find, and
also some crosses with some of the best
local strains that we've kept going over
the last 14 years. Too many really good
sativas have been lost in recent years &
I'm the only person I know around here
who has kept these strains going, sadly.
Some have probably been lost forever.

A friend in another town said I can send
seeds there so that they arrive safely and
without being intercepted by big brother.
I don't keep anything at home other than
a pile of books and High Times Mag's
dating from August 1990 to now, so
even if I am raided, they won't find
anything worthy of use in court :-)

It's really nice to chat with friendly people in here.
Hopefully we'll get to meet around Cannabis Cup time.

what you can try to do is send them in a box of cupasoup
a friend of mine is in australia for a year now and he said that they opend

i allso have a litle pipe, but it got broken the last time we used it.
stupid cheap ass thing :)

A crime against nature :-(

I lost some of my own very best too,
as accidents do happen sometimes and
at the time I naively believed that they
would always be around so I could get
fresh seeds, but one day...,
they were gone forever :-(

Now I am very careful to preserve
the best of the best that I still have.

As much as I like some of the great strains
now commercially available, some of the old
sativa's originating from Asia were far superior
in regards to their mind effects.

and they wrongly think you are exaggerating. <sad>

some more 'just over there-abouts' too,
pretty much all over the place <grin> :-)

Used to grow some in my wardrobe :-) but the smell
was too strong when they started flowering :-) and had
to take them for a scenic drive into the mountains :-)

I've thought up some *very sneaky* hiding methods, but
I won't post them until I get back to OZ after my visit.

Spin is used over here too,
usually in small amounts,
especially when pot is scarce.
Many here do prefer it.
I prefer my pot 'straight' (without spin).

I like to experience the subtle effects of good pot,
and tobacco seems to lessen the 'up-lifting' effects
of many strains, at least for me.
( with many people though, 'stoned is stoned is stoned...' )

Cannabis is a very handsome looking plant,
there are so many variations in smells,
leaf & flower colors, size, shape & effect.
I love it with a passion.

Sorry, that was my fault, but these groups are oft so dead,

Send them to good growers in Holland
they can grow them without any problems.

As long as we get enough rain. It's been good so far this spring.

nope, this is my first time :)
but a friend of mine at work has grown for manny years.
he helpt me a lot!
and the internet has a lot of information.

this weekend i was smoking my own weed
i thought it wasn't that strong so i rolled a allmost a pure one,
damn i was so stoned... lol
could not/didn't want to move for half a day :P:P:P

Hello, to bad that you won't come, but i can understand it..

my plants are going up in smoke ;)
i have dried them and am now smoking my first home grown :D
and i must say, I LIKE IT :)
it turned out to be a good weed,
not a high but more stoner weed
i had some great trips on it :P

Yeah, it's always better than paying someone else for it !!
(even with all those coffee shops in your street)
