I have decided it is time I venture into becoming self sufficient, so I have started what I feel will be a successful DWC with some things around the house. I have been lucky enough to find a great urban garden shop that has all I need to fill in my gaps. I have rock bubblers under my baskets to provide O2. My next step is lighting which I want to do super cheap if there is such a thing and chems. I'm also curious about seeding and if I need rockwool. Honestly anything would be a help, thanks.

More than happy to help JoeUX7 :)
First off it's DWC for Deep Water Culture, not to be nitpicky. Second I'm not sure what you mean by rock bubblers, you mean like those ones for aquariums? Third, cheap lighting is entirely possible, depending on your version of cheap of course.
Feel free to ask away, if you'd like there's a link in my sig for questions just like these ;)

Yes like aquarium bubblers, I ment dwc. I actually just read your post about lighting. I'm also new to forums and am just using my smart phone so please be patient with me. I'm needing to get my seeds ready as well. I don't know much, but am completely intrigued. I have always had gardens outside, so I'm excited about the new adventure. also if I figure out how to post a pic from my phone I will post the system I built.

Hey no problems, just wasn't sure if you knew or not. I think you need something like 5 or 10 posts to add pictures, but I look forward to seeing them. Anything I can help with please don't hesitate to ask :)
