Can anybody help me here. I need to know whether the UV lights that
are needed to grow pot use up alot of energy in use? A friend of mine
wants to start growing a little pot at home but he doesn't want the
lights to blow his electric bill sky high.

Any help would be greatly appreciated
Cheers in advance.

Don't bother with UV lights. They're dangerous and aren't very
efficient. Use high-pressure sodium lights, which are more efficient
than any other type.

Keep on truckin'

....well, at least stinkier than it is with two 100 watt lights.... I
wouldn't get too critical about lights until you've boosted it up to
400+ watts of HID.
