I had posted a thread previously regarding my very first grow, now I actually have a few plants outside & a few ready to go outdoors that I am currently starting inside with a light.

The plants I have outside already are as follows: 1 Dutch Passion Strawberry Cough Feminized, 2 DNA Genetics Cataract Kush Feminized, 1 Jamaican Kush (not feminized), 1 OG Kush (not feminized). Haven't started using vegging nutes yet but will get some 20-20-20 when I go to the store. *Will update with pics very shortly once I get a camera*. All the plants are in 3 Gal pots filled with BX Pro Mix Mycorise, the pots have holes at the bottom in matching trey's in which I empty the water when it drains.

I also have 4 Greenhouse Seeds Green-O-Matic Autoflower Feminized which I am growing inside in jiffy pucks under a light, these will be going outside within the next couple days. Will also put them into 3 Gals pots filled with Bx Pro Mix Mycorise which I have leftover in the bag. Will use fertilizer on these ones as well. I have a question and was wondering what nutrients I will use for Flowering (as for vegging Im going to use 20 20 20). I am also aware that the last 2 weeks before harvest I should flush the plants with just water. The autoflower plants should be ready to harvest by the end of August & the other plants that are already outside will be ready by the end of October. Any advice & suggestions would be much appreciated!

Let's hope this first grow goes well & I gain crucial experience so that next season I can go hard!!!

Get something with more nitrogen, like a 20-10-10 or 10-5-5. For flower it's less N and more P and K, so 10-20-20. Where are you going to buy it, local or on line?

I'm going to buy it locally, so 10-20-20 for flowering & 20-20-20 for veg?
Thanks Muddy

No, read my previous post again.

If buying local, go to Lowes and get some Better-Gro Orchid Plus for veg and Bloom Booster for flower. Or go to a hydro store and get something specific for growing MJ. 20-20-20 is good for the vegetable garden but not for growing MJ.

I have a lowes in my area, and hopefully it will carry Better-Grow Orchid Plus & Bloom booste. Otherwise I will have to find somewhere that sells 20-10-10 or 10-5-5 for veg & 10-20-20 for flowering. Do you know of any good places online that can ship to me (Toronto, Canada). Also I only have like 40-60$ to spend so Im kinda tight on costs.

Lowes should have it. Look in the garden section. Usually they are on the same rack with other specialized products like cactus soil, perlite, etc., or just ask. Those numbers are just general guides. The Better-Gro is actually 20-14-13 and 11-35-15.

I'm in the US so don't know any good places in Canada. Of course you can buy US but I think the shipping is cheaper if you buy Canadian, plus no customs.

Ok I will definately go check out lowes in my area this weekend, will reply with update once I have purchased the fertilizer. So the numbers don't have to be exact (since they are just guidelines) but have to be close. How much do these cost roughly if you don't mind me asking? You have been more than helpful btw!

Update* Just called a lowes in my area & unfortunately they do not carry any of those products (Better-Grow orchid plus, Bloom booster). On the upside I called a local hydroponics shop in my area & they do have what I'm looking for as far as vegging/flowering nutes & fertilizers. It's 25$ for the vegging nutes & prob 30 for the flowering. I made sure that these products are specifically designed for use with MJ. http://www.hydroponix.com/en/index.html <<< This is the link to the site which sells a whole array of goods for indoor/outdoor growing. So at this point I'm definately going to go here.
