There almost like smart pots except they dont air prune your roots, use put one container within another wich creats a massive root mass. When u transplant fill the bag half way with media, put the other bag with roots hanging out and fill the rest of the way. I'll get some pics up of what mine look like for more of a up close look. check out the galleries and methods

They don't air prune?

Well your not suppose to let them air prune, when your roots start showing set em up in bigger bag like i go from 1gal-5gal-10gal. It creates that huge thick root mass. The bags are a poly that have tiny air holes big enough to let routs grow out but not restritve to where they prune. I was scratching my head for a sec too but they really are amazing. just check out galleries and methods

Thing is, as soon as roots sense the air they self prune. I like the idea of trans planting into another pot by leaveing the old one on. I thought of this a few months ago w/ S/P. There is no mess & more important no stress on the plant.

Yeh i know tht, i have a flood table that the run off sits in and soaks up i water once a day. The huge healthy roots chill till i can get em transplanted. Yeh i like how they don't go into a shock its clean. they have handles lol

I'm pretty sure they are of similar material...you could actually by a roll at Lowes™ & then sew up your on design. They use it for construction sites as a barrer that water can go through, but holds behind the rubage.

There almost like the black shopping bags that our wives get instead of paper or plastic lol only a lil lighter and you caan see through the mesh when u hole em up to light...I should just see if i cant hook u up with some bags lol
