I heard that it is illegal to have anything remotely close to pipes or papers, etc. in the U.S. in a head shop. A friend of mine down there couldn't get a pipe, so he had it ordered in from Amsterdam. So, if that's true, what do they sell at the head shops there, and where did you get your pipe (if you have one)?

we can get pipes in the U.S, I have a shop not to far from me that carries a lot of glass. Papers can be bought right in the gas stations and places like that. alot of the tatoo parlors have a lot of glass and other pieces also.

I can get papers at any gas station or convenience store. Those aren't hard to find. There are 2 head shops in my area, and both carry pipes, and lighters and the such. Basically they carry everything they can without actually selling the weed. They actually sell a lot of really great hemp products which are good for the environment.

Papers are readily available just about anywhere. depending on which head shop you go to pipes come in a wide selection. tatoo parlors are also a great source for these types of things, depending on which one you go to some have a whole separate shop in the building.

Sorry if my reply is repeat but here goes,
Having any products used for smoking is NOT illegal. You can smoke regular tobacco with this stuff.
It becomes illegal if you get busted with any pot on you. If you have the items then it is illegal but only then.
or if you get busted for anything else and your items has residue..
But then again, this varies state to state.

That is the same way that it is here also, its not illegal to have items to smoke with because they can be used for any type of tobacco, but if you get caught with them and there is evidence of illegal tobacco use then you need to start worrying.

got to love those head shops :) the stuff they sell here is definitely legal you just cant get caught smoking anything illegal in them, residue of something illegal in them is all they need to confinscate your piece.
