My outdoor plants are now about four feet tall and flowering. Males and
females are segregated.

Is it worthwhile harvesting the males?

Is it worthwhile harvesting the leaves and stems? If so, is harvest time the
same as for the buds?

Is there a recommended method for processing the hearvest? Grinding or
shredding? I'll be smoking mixed with tobacco in a pipe.

Thanks guys.

one open flower can spell disaster, however, and harvesting when they
first start to open will only spread pollen all over the neighborhood,
due to the disturbance... of course, if there's only a total of four
or five plants, both m&F, this isn't the end of the world. If you have
thirty or forty, it's a different story.
I say, whack the males asap. If they were worth saving, peak potency
isn't a major concern, because it'll be nothing compared to the
flowers of the females. I use small male leaves for cooking, that's
about it. Smoking them is generally the last resort. Fan leaves go in
the compost pile. Getting rid of males now leaves more room and less
root competition for the females.

if you <do> decide to whack the males, cut them off at the base, don't
uproot them, unless there's no chance of disturbing the female roots.
Good luck!
