View Full Version : Chop my buds?

Hey, my friend's two plants have several buds which seem to be ready to nab
(the hair things are turning brown). Can they be harvested so that the plant
keeps growing and producing for, oh say, forever or a long time? Some of the
leaves are turning yellow too. How should those be dealt with?

Thanks

When harvesting, leave enough living leaf material near the base of
the plant to allow it to regenerate (at least a few small branches
w/leaves on them). Then put the plant back on a veg nute and light
schedule until there is enough growth to make it sensible to flower
again. Your yield will be smaller than the first time around, but
will be decent. But if you want consistently large yields, then cut
some female clones before harvesting the mother, and grow these
instead.

Keep on truckin'

So that means just chop off the buds but leave as many leaves as possible on
the plant?

sure, just chop the tops and leave the rest growing. Leaves turn yellow as
the days shorten. Check out online info on super- cropping
