Is it safe to post photos on here. How do we know the man cant track ip addresses from photo pics. not trying to scare anyone just wondering. can you comment administrater :confused:

i think the government could do anything it wants.
but i think there are way more fish to fry than us posting pics.
just like when i got an order of seeds seized. they sent me a letter of confiscation and told me i could challenge the seizure if i responded in a certain amount of days and paid like 20 dollars for some kind of filing fee.
of course i let it go but they never came then and they had me dead to rights. but there is a defense if you do not use a credit card.
but realistically unless they are tracking someone and want them really bad i think it is safe.
i am going to post some pics if they come out good ( i have film camera and hard to get deloleped ) ) when a friend of mine that works somewhere can devolep them

Some digital camera insert what is called Meta data into the photo data. This can contain the type of camera, dates, etc. There is a program called Exifer that is free and will allow you to check the meta data and delete/modify it before posting.

I agree with Jethro, we are small fish in a big pond. I posted on another forum for over 2 years and probably revealed a fair amount of information about myself in the process of making over 3,300 posts, including lots of pictures. If someone had the data and wanted to go through it all they could have learned a little about me. But that would have been a pretty big task and hardly worth the resources.

If you posted an image or video in the wrong place and it became notourious, then it could lead to a conviction.
But this is the right place.

I am sure we would gasp at the true level on servaillance we are subject to.
It's probably still a good idea to not show your fugly face on camera, with incriminating evidence.

If you are posting/attaching photos in good faith, nothing toworry about. Unless you had this intention, man will do everything to trace your IP. Basically, IP are being trace by board administrator, however, it is discreet.
