Hey guys. Decided to stop procrastinating and put together a journal. It will start off slow but ill get to a point of almost daily updates. For now ill just give ya the skinny

First a little about me.. I am a registered patient as well as provider for myself and 2 others locally. I do this for the plant and the passion (and maybe a little for taboo). The healing properties are merely a bonus. I have held a medical card since the prop. Was passed and have been growing for 30+ years and breeding for 12. I am far from a know it all but what knowledge I do contain is as much urs as mine being as ill go out of my way to help someone obtain medicinal quality medicine in a safe manner. I am also a bit of a pro diy'r 2 of the ballast and one of the tents as well as many many odds and ends were made in house by me. So please if u have any questions.... Ask idc if its in ANY of my threads feel free to ask.

Ok enough bsin about myself let's get to why were here.

first the veg tent (diy) I made this from the slats left over from an old bed. It measures 5ftx2.5ftx5ft inner measurement it houses my 6 site diy bubble cloner a 54wt5 4ft as well as the two diy ballast (250w and 400w mh's)

The flower tent: hydrohut measuring 4x2.5x7ft houses a 1000w metal halide.

As u probably noticed I only use mh. This is a personal prefference. Aside from the increase in potency for medicinal purposes nothing says bag appeal like a 1/2 inch trich profile imo :)

The strains:
I will be growing
Purple erkel-genuine
Super silver haze (greenhouse)
Bubblicious (serious seeds? Maybe)
Grapefruit diesel (not sure who)
And possibly the most stavle bagseed I have ever found simply referred to as mystery skunk or ms from here on out.

Currently I have 1 super silver haze and 1 purple erkel in dwc 11 days into flower and will be putting a soil ms and bubblegum in a week from monday. Ill have pics up shortly until then I look forward to hearin from u guys

Phew. Long enough title? Haha.
This grow is kinda already in progress
So Ill try and keep this organized but I had half a journal on the other site so it may be compiled and confusing for the first few post haha.
I will be using 2 tents one diy measuring 5ftx2.5ftx5ft(veg) and another (not sure on brand) measuring 4ftx2.5ftx7ft(flower)
Also don't be too critical these were kinda rescued from a hopeless blackthumb. So they look a little rough but they've all made a full recovery and resumed growth since they just don't look extremely pretty right now
Ill be doing five strains some of which will change over the next few months. The strains are
Purple erkel(selfed from clone has yet to hermie, phew)
Super silver haze (greenhouse)
Bubblicious (serious seed? I think)
Grapefruit diesel (not sure who from)
And a very potent and very stable bagseed ill reffer to as mystery skunk (ms) the oldest two were started in a bp system which I removed the lines and pump from after 3 weeks and they're now under the 1000 watter 8days into flower.

Which reminds me lights, ill be using all metal halide for personal prefference I love a high trich profile, these consisting of a homemade 250w and 400w as well as a 4ft t5 for clone propigation in veg and for flower a 1000 watt sunsystem convertible ballast with hortilux bulb.
All are air cooled except the 250 which is hanging vertically in the veg tent (which explains my thumb in the one pic I hope )

So as of tonight I will have 1 purple erkel. And 1 ssh 2 weeks into flower and 1 bubblegum in soil as well as another purple erkel in soil 1 day in flower.

Made a few changes now the flower tent is pushin 1250watts and the veg 454watts. Hoping to see some fat nugs soon :D

Thanks man. I knew I left somethin out. Ill be updating at least once a week from here on out so hopefully we can all learn something from my trials and tribulations. This is only my 2nd or 3rd grow in water but I have yet to see a problem. I'm feeding them advanced nutrients kinda a custom mix atm but I am waiting on my technaflora pack and will be doing a side by side. But today on the res change they got
96ml bloom
12ml micro (not made by AN)
96ml rhinoskin
120ml cal-mag
96ml bud candy
25ml big bud
And a bit of sensizyme.

They're now on day 19 and there are trichs forming everywhere. I'm stoked on this as I have never seen trichs before 31/2 weeks with the urkel. Hell they're usually where they were 2 weeks ago by now. Ill have pics up shortly though I'm not sure this blackberry can get any trich pics under the hid.

I was hoping some trichs would show through but I kinda figured the blackberry wouldn't be able to catch them under a hid either way its day 19 and they already have a very nice trich profile forming. I can't wait the last ones didn't show trichs til almost week 4 and they ended up super frosty so I'm overly amped for these ones.

I don't understand why they put these high resolution cameras in phones with the biggest piece of shit lens in front of it, they don't care if the picture is garbage as long as it's 6 megapixels or something.

Is that an ionizer you are using? Does it usually smell pretty strong near your plants or do you have that under control? Just curious because odor control is one of the many things I still need to figure out.

Couldn't have said it better. The lens is crap and its really frustrating cause it can't pick up the details that get me excited over so it kinda kills the joy of sharing lol. It is an ionizer I really just use it to help push a little more fresh air but that mixed with the carbon fliter I can't smell them unless I rub against them... Then the whole room fills with a lovely scent for a minute otherwise I can put my nose right on them and not really smell much. Have u tried a DIY carbon scrubber yet? They're easy to make and waaayyy cheaper than lawyer fees and a new door cause they kicked the old one in half looking for flowers.
