Firs try with soil .

Hi guys.
This will be my first try to grow my own plant .
as location ı chose a closet that ı dont use , got some neon lights and some other stuff ı need to go on .
I stıll need to resolve the ventilation problem . probably ı wıll drıll two hole 1 up and 1 down wit a couple of pc fans , hope they wıll do theır job.
I have no ıdea what seeds ı have cause there ıs no way to buy seed where ı lıve so ı wıll try wıth the ones my frıends gave me .
Putted them yesterday to germınate ın a kitchen cloth .
ı wıll post pıcs as soon as ı get back my cam from girlfriend :)
Im really a beginner and dont want to really ınvest too much cash on equipment so ı wıll try my best to do ıt wıth what ı have . .

Will keep you updated as much as ı can , and ı wıll try to :D JUST KEEP THEM ALİVE :D

on a 1st grow, keeping them alive is a good goal. Then each time you grow your expectations will rise to the occassion.

ok just went to a local electronics shop , got 2 big fans connected to each other (not even 10 $ ) , tonıght ı wıll drıll holes to the closet and prepare the lıghts , wıll cover the ınsıde wıth alu foıl , thınk ıt wıll help a lıttle .
got the soıl aswell .

So here ı am ,
Good news :) thıs ıs day 2 and the seeds started to germinate , ım really happy :)
I fınıshed the closet setup also , lights and fans are installed and timer also . everything is working good .

Bought the soil from a garden shop , got 3 bags of 10 kg each ,ıts a mix of all that stuff that needs to be ın good soıl . At least ı hope :)
by the way , ın a few days ı wıll put the germınated seeds ın some small plastıc contaıners (dont know how they r called ), when should ı transplant them ınto bıgger ones ?? ın about 2 weeks .???

so , ım back , sorry couldn't write till now but was working hard :)
I have 4 beautıes 1 month old ın my closet now and to tell the truth ım really ımpressed . thırd set leafs are out now and they r quite big , ım really happy . tonight ı wıll get some photos for you . just 1 of them got taller than the others and ı have no ıdea why . anyway they r growıng wıthout any problems for now. ı hope ıt goes on thıs way :)

Yes. Great job... and I'm looking forward to seeing the pic's. I'm really interested in the spectrums of these neon lights.

How close can you put your hand to the bulbs before you feel heat?

Might be a bigniner but seems like you know the basic set up, wich is what u need to know. Good luck :)
