Cut Weed

I've been smoking for about a year and then some and my girlfriend has smoked with me and my friends quite a few times, and enjoyed it. Recently she brought up the "what if" scenario of the weed I buy being cut with something. I told her that I would probably be able to detect if the bud I had was cut with anything, either by noticing something strange about the appearance or the smell, or even if the smoke tasted strange. She's convinced that I'm just trying to act like the typical "pot-head know-it-all" and that I just don't know what I'm taking about. My question is, how common is it for someone to get weed thats cut with something without asking a dealer for something like it? Also, how noticeable would it even be if what I got was cut.

well i know in england they have "grit weed" which is weed laced with ground up glass so when u look at it the "resin" sparkles..it messes people up bad but i havent heard about it in the US...if u smoke enough, then u should be able to tell if it was sprayed with something..id just go to a dealer u trust and smoke with em

just ask if its better to have info and act like a smartass then look like a stupid, burnt out stoner?? im sure she wont have much to say..just asking, was she high when she brought this up?

There is a chance that weed can be laced. I don't know if anybody knows if there's an official statistic on that or not. I don't think there is and I think it's just about possible to perform a consensus like that.

But there is definitely laced weed out there. And don't let people tell you that "it costs more to lace it". Yes, the drug they may put in there is more expensive by the gram, but the comeback is huge. That's why people do it. If they lace a drug, they do it to get you superhooked and pay a lot of money on thier weed or get you hooked on another drug especially. This can happen with crack. I know one example where this happened.

For the most part, if you're just buying weed, then you should have a pretty good chance of it being clean. You should be inspecting your purchase anyways so when you do that check for anything strange. If you see lots of crystals or some wierd texture or something, then it should be held in suspicion. If you live in the U.s. I think you are better off, it seems alot of these tainted cannbis is in Eourope and u.k. and the "old world".

Have a good relationship with your dealer, and don't buy from shady characters or people who look like they may be in a gang or do meth or something. I must emphasise again how important it is to have your own dealer, you will be so much better off. Also, pay attention to the effects the cannabis is having on you, and try to smoke some of what you have with your dealer. He wouldn't smoke anything if it was tainted with some junk. If your dealer sells other drugs, like crack or meth, then it's a sign to just be careful. But I think most of the time you'll have no problem.

I'm sure there's some people that do it in the U.s.You have a lot greater chance of being ripped off if you buy hash, waaay bigger chance. And don't ever buy soapbar.

Alot of people think, no way, weeds not laced hardly ever. But I've seen it happen. And you have to keep in mind that in a lot of places, even here in the nw alot of the weed we get is from big growers that are operated by out of country criminal organizations, and alot of them deal other drugs too.

But even if they were all home growers (and I know there's number of them), if they're trying to make some $ then alot of people would defenitely put something in there to cut it or make more money. The love of money is the root of all evil.

The best thing you can do is grow your own.
