Here lately we been getting ahold of some that was still wet. I usually just pop it in the microwave untill hubby bout bit my head off for it. He told me to spread it out in a box lid and set it in the bathroom window.
So I want to know why? What diff does it make as to how you dry it out? And why bother? He just gonna lick all over the J and soak it anyways!!:D
If it is too sticky it is a pain in the butt to break up and it does not smoke all that well. I would not put it in the microwave, I just leave the bag open overnight usually dries it right up.

I agree with your hubby, let it air dry, that is what I do, after all you dont want to cook it, unless it's already in the bowl;) I would just spread it out over night and let the air get to it, or as the above poster said just leave the bag open.

if we get any that is still wet we usually just open it up for the night, if it's still real wet then we spread it out to dry out over night. This hasnt been a big problem for us, but we have gotten some that needed to dry more.

I really don't know why you can't dry it in the microwave, but I would assume it would really dry it out. All I know is that when I've gotten any that was wet I've always taken it out of the bag and spread it out to dry overnight. That really was the best way to go.
Just a side thought...before my grandma passed away she was trying to cut back on her smoking (cigarettes) and rofl if they weren't in front of her she wouldn't chain smoke, so she kept her cigarettes in the oven. At that time she was starting to forget things a little bit. Anyway, she wanted to bake a cake so she turned the oven on to preheat it and wondered why she smelled dry cigarettes. Needless to say we laughed about that for so long and my grandma told me that when she smoked it tasted like overcooked cigarettes and that they were so dry. lol I would think the same sort of thing would apply in this case. ;)

Dry them in the shade, that's the best way to do it. Maybe in a regular closet or your garage, just make sure the neighbors don't see them. True, even haphazardly dried MJ are still potent but the slow drying under shade makes them more mellow.
