Wow! This old thread is getting a bit long in the tooth.
Although I never see JM's posts anymore (he's filtered out), I can
tell you that he is a very confused and defensive person. So I am
replying here only to let newcomers know the accurate story.
Unlike JM, I don't have a Web site where I sell anything. I assume he
is perhaps referring to the URL I have often put in my sig:
http://anon.user.anonymizer.com/http://www.angelfire.com/clone/cacher/freedom/adpcFreedomFAQ.htm
That is an informational Web site created by pH, that happens to also
include a section covering the statistical analysis and predictive
model that we created based on the data contained in the Indoor
Yeld-O-Rama database. It is a public service to cultivators, to help
them improve their crop yield.
In contrast, his crappy Web site actually includes a 'Link Exchange'
so that JM and other spammers can link up. What a dork!
Keep on truckin'

And the "informational web-site" that you have in your sig sells links, but
I'm sure that when you do this it's okay, since I'm the "confused and
defensive person".

The advertising links you see are those put there by the hosting service,
NOT by the web site being hosted. You are obviously confused over where
advertising originates, and that a web site hosted at any free hosting
service has no say whatsoever in any advertising the service chooses to
superimpose over sites it hosts. Defensive? I'd say that's pretty obvious
too.
I'm surprised you didn't check the html code before putting your foot in
your mouth. Check it and look for these commented lines added by the
hosting service.......
